History of Herbalife:
Herbalife is a brand company particularly for weight management. Founded by Mark Reynolds Hughes in the year 1980 in Los Angeles, California, its lead products are weight management, nutritional supplements, personal care and sports nutrition. In February 1980, at the age of 24 Mark started selling his Herbalife protein shake, which is a soy-based meal replacement shake on his own car. His first product was designed for weight loss; later he added more products on nutrition, energy and fitness supplements and personal care.
Unfortunately he died in 20th May 2000 due to overdose of doxepin, an anti-depressant with alcohol. The company Herbalife is now running under Michel O. Johnson, the CEO since April 2003.
1. Mother Product: Formula 1 Protein Shake
F1 or Formula 1 Protein Shake is the mother product of Herbalife, which has four flavors; mango, vanilla, chocolate and orange. Its main ingredients are isolated soy protein, whey protein, 19 types of vitamins and minerals with natural herbs, 20 types of antioxidants and dietary fiber in it. The isolated soy protein has excellent quality protein with Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAS) of 1.
Formula 1 is a complete meal replacement, which is designed to take 3 spoons with 1 spoon of PPP mixed with milk, water or any juice.
Our body requires 114 types of nutrition in a day. Out of which, 3 types of nutrition was used in day time (i.e. protein, carbohydrate and fat) and rest 111 nutrition utilized during night. The F1 has complete nutritional values for a healthy and fit personality.
