As far as medical transcription is concerned, try to get into a company which has live transcription work going on in their company so that after training you will have the opportunity to work in the same organization. By this way you will be able to gain more experience by working with their already existing workforce. Do not go to a place where they offer only training even if they offer to get you placement elsewhere and provide you certificates since that training is always suboptimal. You will need to work at least 1 year in an organization to do home based transcription and during this period you try to do how much ever specialities you could get an opportunity to do, as it will definitely help you when you prefer to do your home based transcription by boosting your accuracy and your earnings.
