Sunday is not a fun day for everyone in India

Everyone works hard to give a better life to his family. And everyone has different interests and passions, therefore, people work in different fields. Some work in better companies and successfully make a career, and some are happy to work with government departments, some are interested in sports and others may be interested in other fields.

And for some destiny has stored a bit harder life, therefore, end up working as manual labourers in construction companies, and agricultural and horticulture fields. They are less privileged and work seven days a week without break. They have no holiday even if it is Sunday. They toil hard to make both ends meet. They leave their houses in the morning and return in the evening after completing the day's chorus.

When other working elites are eagerly waiting for Sunday to enjoy, make fun and have some exciting time with family; poor and underprivileged people sweat themselves even on Sundays! Sunday is for the elite and there is no fun for the underprivileged on Sunday. They keep working hard without any break or holiday! That is why Sunday is not a fun day for everyone in India.

That is true. They have to work all weekdays. They will have more work on Sunday. There are taxi drivers, rikshaw pullers and other such people who will have to work 365 days to earn their lively hood. If there was a bandh call, these people will not have any earnings on that day and their families may go foodless on that day.
Housewives also will not have any holiday on Sunday. They have to work all days of the week. There is no weekly off for them. All employees should think about this and find out a way to see that housewives will also get one day's leave in a week.
In India, there are many people who are suffering a lot to take care of their families. For them, there are no fun-filled days. If they get two square meals every day, that will be the happiest occasion for them. The government says that they are giving free items to many. But those are not reaching the really deserved people.

The author has narrated the stark realities of the lives of poor and downtrodden in our country. These poor people are always searching for jobs and for them there is no holiday. If they regularly get food for two times a day for themselves and their families, they are happy with that.
Those who are financially well off they only complain that they are tired of their work and desparately waiting for the holidays to take rest.
When we think about those poor people in our country we understand that we are the luckier lot having money and time to enjoy with our families and friends on holidays.

    Knowledge is power.
