What is the ideal age for 10th class exams

She is not lagging behind. No worries here.
After 5 years of age a child is typically admitted to standard I. so you can calculate the age in standard X.
In any class you will children with an age range of a year, since they can be born anytime between January to December.
So the youngest students in the class may be a little less mature, and find concepts a little difficult to understand and comprehend as compared to their older counterparts.

As per the Indian education system a child can be 15 - 16 years when he/ she becomes eligible for call 10th exams, But it has been also seen that many child below 15 years have also appeared in 10th class exams in many parts of India and in the world.

No need to worry about your child's future. As per the given date of birth, she will attend X std examination at the age of 15 years and 8 months. In my opinion, this is the ideal age for writing X std public examination.

Maturity of the child grows with the age. So maturity level of your daughter would be higher when compared to other lesser age group of students in the same class. Definitely, this will help your daughter to understand the subjects very well and score high marks in X std and XII std examinations in future.

The minimum and maximum age for admission in class X of Kendriya Vidyalaya ( Central School) is 14 years and 16 years respectively on the 31st March of the year in which admission is sought.

Indian Education is still not very much strict in regards to age criteria.

There are some schools which are considering age criteria before approving their admission but then there are many school which are not considering.

Ideally, a student with an age of 14-16 years should have passed 10th standard.

for Xth class ideal age should be 15years

In my opinion ideal age for doing class 10 should be 15 year. But it all depend on student, if a person is talented and quick learner then he can do 10th class is 14 age also. Its all depend upon the talent.
