2019 Western Railway Summer Special Trains Schedule from Mumbai


Are you looking for special fare trains from Mumbai to New Delhi? Planning to travel from Mumbai to Indore in May 2019? This article provides the complete April to July 2019 schedule of Western Railway train timings and dates between Mumbai and New Delhi, Indore, Gandhidham and Mangalore.

Pack your bags and head off for the summer holidays to Delhi, Gandhidham, Indore or Mangalore! Western Railway has scheduled special superfast summer trains which will run right from April to 1st July 2019. There are 112 special services of four trains heading to and fro from Mumbai to these four cities on special fares. Hurry, though – tickets sell fast and both online and offline ticket bookings have already started a few days ago.

The schedule of the 2019 WR summer special trains from Mumbai is as follows –

Mumbai to New Delhi

Bi-weekly Superfast AC Special trains will run from 12th April to 1st July 2019, with a total of 48 trips between Mumbai Central and New Delhi stations.

Train No.09005:

Dates: 12th April to 30th June 2019.
Departure: From Mumbai Central at 16.00hrs (Sunday and Friday).
Arrival: New Delhi at 07.55hrs on the next day.

Return Train No. 09006

Dates: 13th April to 1st July 2019.
Departure: From New Delhi at 14.50hrs. (Monday and Saturday).
Arrival: Mumbai Central at 06.55hrs. on the next day.

Halts to and fro: Vadodara and Kota railway stations.

Composition: AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier Coaches and Pantry Car.



Mumbai to Gandhidham

Weekly Superfast Special Trains will run from 13th April to 29th June 2019, with a total of 24 trips between Bandra Terminus and Gandhidham.

Train No.: 09433

Dates: 13th April to 29th June 2019.
Departure: From Bandra Terminus at 00.25hrs. (Saturday).
Arrival: Gandhidham at 13.50hrs. (on the same day, which is Saturday).

Return Train No.: 09434

Dates: 13th April to 29th June 2019.
Departure: From Gandhidham at 16.35hrs. (Saturday)
Arrival: Bandra Terminus at 06.15hrs. (on the next day, which is Sunday).

Halts to and fro: Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Dhrangadhra, Samakhiali and Bhachau.

Composition: AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class General Coaches.

Mumbai to Mangalore Jn.

Weekly Special Train via Vasai Road will run from From 16th April to 5th June 2019 with 16 trips totally between Bandra Terminus and Mangalore Junction stations.

Train No. 09009

Dates: 16th April to 4th June 2019.
Departure: From Bandra Terminus at 23.55hrs. (Tuesday).
Arrival: Mangalore Jn. at 1945hrs. on the next day.

Return Train No. 09010

Dates: 17th April to 5th June 2019.
Departure: From Mangalore Jn. At 23.00hrs. (Wednesday).
Arrival: Bandra Terminus at 19.30hrs. on the next day.

Halts to and fro: Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sanmeshwar Road, Ratnagir, Kankavli, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal.

Composition: AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, Second Class General Coaches and Pantry Car.

Mumbai to Indore

Weekly Superfast Special trains will run from 12th April to 29th June 2019 with 24 trips totally between Bandra Terminus and Indore

Train No. 09023

Dates: 13th April to 29th June 2019.
Departure: From Bandra Terminus at 13.05hrs. (Saturday).
Arrival: Indore at 03.55hrs. on the next day.

Return Train No. 09024

Dates: 12th April to 28th June 2019.
Departure: From Indore at 16.50hrs. (Friday).
Arrival: Bandra Terminus at 07.35hrs. on the next day.

Halts to and fro: Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain and Dewas stations.

Composition: AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier Coaches, Sleeper Class, Second Class General Coaches and Pantry Car.

Online and offline booking process

Register by opening an account at the IRCTC e-Ticketing website. Then select your starting point and destination point and book your tickets. You can also book IRCTC outstation railway tickets on mobile phone by SMS.

Offline, you can book tickets directly at any of the Passenger Reservation Centres. Once you have booked your tickets, you can make inquiries about your ticket reservation via the Indian Railways Passenger Reservation Enquiry portal.
