Post -Graduate Programme in Banking and Finance Admission 2010 - 2012
NIBM is the apex institution in banking and finance. NIBM has its own campus with all modern educational, institutional and residential facilities and a library with more than 65000 books and 350 journals and periodicals. PGPBF, held on residential basis, is providing to the financial system a pool of talented youngsters thoroughly trained and prepared with Analytical skills and Perspectives in Banking and Finance for directly taking up managerial responsibilities.
Eligibility -:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree with atleast 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Refer to our website for complete details regarding qualifying criteria. Students completing their degree examination by June 2010 may also apply.
Candidates seeking admission to the PGPBF of NIBM should appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) by IIMs as a pre-requisite. The CAT will be conducted during November 28 - December 7, 2009. The candidates should follow the CAT advertisement of IIMs in leading newspapers on August 30, 2009. For Full details about obtaining CAT 2009 vouchers. After obtaining CAT 2009 vouchers and registering for CAT, the candidates should apply to NIBM by filling NIMB's application form and furnish CAT Reg. NO. and Centre No.
Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT scores will be called for Group discussion and interview for final selection during Mid-April 2010.
CAT score is used for short-listing candidates who apply for admission to NIBM. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of Programme.
Request for Prospectus, Application Form and Other Information-:
Request should accompany a Demand Draft of Rs.1200/- drawn in favour of "National Institute of Bank Management", payable at Pune. The request should specify the name of the candidate, address, e-mail ID and contact number.
