Regency Institute of Technology is an engineering college where it has been located in Yanam. RIT is affiliated to Pondicherry University, which is a Central University. The founder of the Regency Institute of Technology is Naidu Regency Institute of Technology is known as RIT
Which is far 50km far away from the Kakinada town.
It is one of the 4 colleges affiliated to Pond cherry Central University and it was established in the year 2000 by the Regency Educational Society.
RIT offers B.Tech. programme in six major disciplines.
The college is spread over an area of approx. 62 acres near River Godavari , Bay of Bengal, which provides an excellent view.

Campus : Campus of Regency Institute of Technology is located near river Godavari and it is road side and it is 10km from the town and the campus is fully secured and in the campus all facilities for students and for faculty will be provided.
Hostel Facility : In Regency Institute of Technology the hostel facility is very excellent where there is separate hostels will be maintained in the campus itself .For girls and boys there is a separate hostel with lady warden and gents warden where students has to take permission before leaving the campus
And even separate hostels for Jr.boys where to avoid the ragging .These hostels provide around 800 students and has the following facilities like

Library : Library facility provided by Regency Institute of Technology is a central library . More than 15,000 books are provided by Regency Institute of Technology library,where there is a AC central library even
And even computers also provided in the library
All students,faculty memebers and employees of the institute are entitled to make use of the library facilities on taking library memebership.
Central Library occupies a place of pride in RIT,YANAM and is an essntial component of the institute's outstanding education mission

NSS and NCC : RIT is giving extensive training for the NSS and NCC to its students.The acativities in NSS are like tree planatation, campus cleaning, Environmental sanitation, Conduct of rallies on AIDS, consumer awareness, population, education , Visit to old age home etc

Horse riding is a unique sport of offered in this college.
Extensive sporting facilities including playgrounds and courts for all the games and sports including horse riding have been provided. A gymnasium and swimming pool are being developed in the RIT.

As RIT is provided with the highest placements so all the records will be maintained in the college ,in order to maintain their statistics to compitate with the other colleges
The train facility and the bus facility was very frequency from the college to the town .
