All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for admission to Class VI and IX standards of Sainik School Amaravathinagar for the academic year 2010-2011 announced.
Sainik School Entrance Exam for Amaravathinagar will be held on 03 Jan 2010 (Sunday).
Only boys aged between 10 and 11 years as on 01 July 2010 (i.e. whose date of birth is 02.07.1999 to 01.07.2000) for VI standard and boys aged between 13 and 14 years as on 01 Jul 2010 (i.e. whose date of birth is 02.07.1996 to 01.07.1997) and studying in VIII std in a recognized school are eligible for admission to IX standard.

For prospectus and application forms, remit Rs.385/- for General/Defence categories and Rs.285/- for SC/ST categories inclusive of Registration Fee and cost of old question paper and postal charges through Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India, Amaravathinagar (Branch Code 2191) in favour of 'Principal, Sainik School, Amaravathinagar' along with a self addressed envelope of size 25 cm x 20 cm, with clear indication of the standard to which admission is sought (VI/IX) and the category (SC/ST/Defence/ General).

Last date for issue of Prospectus/ Application and receipt of filled application is 10 Dec 2009.
