The skin is directly contact with enviorment. hence maximum chances of contamination of microbial & other
infections. it is observed that the skin infection due to "not much more awareness neat & clean". the people with
less awareness about clean there skin rapidly get infected with bacteria, fungas infections.
Type of Skin Infections
1. Fungal Infections:
This are Trichophyton, Microsporum & Epidermophyton Fungal infections commonly found. the sources of Fungal
infections are Soil, Animal & infected persons.
Tinea Pedis : also known as Athelete's Foot. this infection occurs on Foot.
Tinea Crusis : also known as Jock Itch. this infection occurs in Groin, Thighs & on the Buttocks.
Tinea Capitis : also known as Skalp infection. commonly found in small childrens.
Tinea Corposis: Occurs on hands, face. characterized by annular scaly plaques on the infected area.
Tinea Unguium : also known as Nail infection. characterized by Thickened yellow nails.
Treatment of Fungal Infections:
For the Fungal Infections Topical treatments are recomonded. the prepration like ointmets and jells are used.
Drug like Econazole, Terbinafine, Clotrimazole creams are available in Market.

2. Candidiasis:
This is Yeast infection caused by Candida albicans. the Candida albicans alters skins physical & chemical
structure leads to Candidiasis. the Candidiasis characterized by Itchy, Reddish & Scaly skin. also creamy discharged
is observed.
Treatment of Candidiasis:
The topical creams like Econazole, Clotrimazole are recomonded. use twice in daily for 6 to 8 weeks.

3. Dermatitis:
The derma means skin & itis means inflamation, hence dermatitis well know as skin inflamations. the inflamation
of skin occurs due to some allergic conditions leads to epidermal oedema.
