Some memories in our life live forever. They remain with us and come again and again. The memory of my first day at school is one such. I sat for the admission test and was selected. It was Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, Barrackpur. Then came that day, the first day of my secondary school life. I started for the school with my father. Boys were entering the majestic building of the school in large numbers. Some came by themselves, some with their guardians or other companions. My father took to the headmaster. He gave me some instructs, tips and guidance and asked me to go to my Class Room. A feeling of extreme loneliness came to me. I parted from my father with a heavy heart.

I entered a room marked Class-V(A). I was very shy and took my seat on the last bench. The bell rang and our class teacher entered with the roster in his hand. Thus started the first day of the new session. He began his lesions on Mathematics. His method of teaching simply charmed us all.

Recess was the playtime and it allowed freedom to the students. In the field I made friends with a number of boys. Today being the first of the session the school would break up after the recess. The final bell soon rang, that also declared the end of my first day at school. The boys began rushing out including me as well. The disciple and the freedom here struck me most. I returned home never to forget the romance of the day.

My first day at school:

When I changed my school from Modern Public to Saint Francis I was very afraid because there I was leaving my friends. But it was a very decision for me at the age of 11.
Now I was a student of Saint Francis School.I was very nervous on the same time I was very sad when I wake up to get ready for the school.I really did not want to go to school because there was no friend of mine. But I had to go.My school was at 9 a.m.I reached school fifteen minutes before.

My first step to my school give me a feeling to something very different which I had never experienced before.I entered the school unknown to everyone.I asked a girl to know where was my class. She showed me the way.I all alone went up to my class and sat on the very last bench of the class.

Our first class was of English and our teacher was Das Sir and he was our class teacher too.He took our attendance and announced in the class about my presence.I was asked to give an introduction of myself.I went there and just started crying there itself.I got a handkerchief form my classmate.I thanked her and went up to my seat. She also came with me.I whipped my tears and she hold my hand. She told me not to worry. She just boosted me up.When I saw her she was the same girl who showed me the way to class. Her name was Neha.

Whole day we stayed together and forgot that I was new to that school. From then onwards everything seemed very familiar to me.Neha and I were best friends then onwards.
My experience at Siant francis school was very good. Now I miss my school very much.I just love everything out there.
