30,000 teachers to be recruited: Min
Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Sep 24 : Chhattisgarh Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal has said that the government would recruit 30,000 teachers in three months to fill up the vacancy in the government schools.
''Teachers will be recruited through Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board and the process has already begun,'' Mr Agrawal told media here last night.
He said the government was also contemplating to change the name 'Shikshak Karmi' to 'Shikshak'.
The Minister said the government was also making an effort to implement pay scale for the teachers and a committee would be formed to under the chairmanship of the secretary of education department to look into the demands of the teachers.
He also said the government rules were being amended for the affiliation of the educational institutions in the state.
