Hardinge a british official had started this school during british rule. That is why this school was named after him and and the school name was Hardinge Zilla Parishat Higher Secondary School. Initially this school was upto 11th class that is S.S.L.C. Later they introduced 12th class also.

I studied in this school from 6th class to 10th class. After 10th class, as per the policey of State Government 12th standard is changed and started 2 years intermediate. Hence this school had only 6th class to 10th class.

Later after 15 years this school has become junior college.

My association with this school was for 5 years that was from 1965 to 1970. In all these 5 classes I stood either school first or second. The teachers in this school were very efficient and dedicated teachers. They used to teach lessons very well and used to punish the students to bring in discipline.

My experience in this school was very plesant. I can not name even a single teacher who was not good. I was participating in scouts and Guides movement. I attended 2 or 3 camps and obtained prizes.

The teachers were taking special classes to students who were not upto mark and trying to improve thier standard.

Even today also I remenber the morals told bu the teachers like Sri.G.Satyanarayana garu, Sri Reddipantulu garu and Sri. Bapi rajugaru and Sri Eranki Suryanarayana garu.

Really they were the teachers one should be the role models for this time teachers.
