How to get through an interview
|
Hi Guys, I’m here once again with a suggestion. Everybody will have to face an interview atleast once in their LIFE. You have no other choice. So I have few suggestions for all those people who are yet to face an interview. Tips: Firstly, I would say have faith in GOD. Strongly believe that he is there to help you out. What he does is for your good. Praying to GOD will help you have a confidence over yourself. I can say this from my experience. Secondly, never be tensed while you take the test be it the first attempt or its repeated attempt because that will get things worse. Take things lightly but then be genuine, be prepared with all possible questions. Before you attend the interview visit the company sites or other sites which provides the sample question paper and work it out so that you get an idea of what the paper would be like. Our friends in INDIA STUDY CHANNEL do post sample question, go through that too. It’ll be an added advantage from your part. Thirdly, never mess up things on the day of the interview. Means, keep your certificates ready, have your clothes ironed, spent some time with your parents and friends that will help you gain a positive energy, calm you. Once everything is set you wouldn’t need to rush things. Fourthly, on the day of interview be there at the venue atleast 30 minutes before the scheduled time that way you will get to do your registration, instead of being in a hurry-burry. Moreover you get to familiarize with the atmosphere that will help you bring down your nervousness if at all you have. Fifthly, never do last minute studies. That won’t help you. Instead it will make you make you tensed. Be through with what you have studied. General pattern for the interview happening in the present scenario is: 1. At first we will have an aptitude test were in they will ask basic mathematics questions, logical reasoning question, at times grammar too. Clearing this round is easy; all you need to do is set time limit and start working out problems. The issue you would be facing in most cases is not able to attend the entire questions that can be overcome with practice. So start practicing. 2. The second round in most case would be a group discussion or technical interview. Here what they look into is not for the right answers. Instead they want you to come out with a solution which needn’t be right. They are testing for your ability to come out with an opinion, answer even when you are stressed. A tip for those who sit for the interview is make your fellow mates participate in the discussion even if they are sitting idle that will fetch you more point. Mark your presence in the group discussion instead of giving out all the points you have at a go. 3. The last round will be an HR round where in mostly they’ll drill you on the personal questions. They’ll also ask questions from your resume (CV) so be genuine with what you put across in your resume, else you should be able to atleast tackle the situation. With this I conclude my suggestion. Hope I have covered all what’s required to get through an interview. Wish all of you get through with the interview.”ALL THE BEST: Thanks, With regards, Zakhir
