fring: an exclusively Mobile VOIP service for Smartphone!

Nowadays Internet telephone network is very popular technology which is being used by smart-phone mobile users like BlackBerry, iPhone and others smart-phones.
Fring is an exclusively Mobile VOIP service that enables free mobile calling between Fring users. It has been founded by Avi Shechter in 2007. It enables users to talk and chat using Skype, ICQ, Google Talk, MSN Messenger/ Windows Live Messenger, AIM, Yahoo Messenger and SIP providers. Many of doesn't know how it works but it is very interesting to tell you that all fring calls are routed to a VoIP gateway (same as it uses in Skype VoIP) and PSTN termination server then calls destined to GSM and PSTN networks pass through a circuit switch such as Skype or SIP and all the calls to VoIP users continue through the VoIP gateway to their destinations. Currently there is no DTMF capability. in fring but very soon, it gonna get all the capability.
You can also interconnects with PC VoIP applications, including Skype, Windows Live Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk, Yahoo! and AIM and have live chat between your friends and relatives and send & receive files using fring. You can see call history also. They have a feature like Auto-roam in and out of WiFi hotspots. A fring client takes care of the add-on presentation on the handset thus developers don’t need to have any mobile development skills.
Fring is currently available through WiFi, GPRS, EDGE or 3G services on Windows Mobile, Symbian, and iPhone handsets. In addition to calling other Fring users you can use such platforms as Skype, GoogleTalk, MSN Messenger, SIP and Twitter to message or call for free. Users can make calls using a non-phone WiFi device if they choose. What is most exciting in Fring is that it has a real time contact availability feature which allows you to see who is online before you call them. Unlike many other mVOIP clients, Fring never charges for their service, however, works completely on your data plan or WiFi. All costs associated with a Fring call are for data transfer (which would be free with an unlimited data plan) or SkypeOut/SIP calls to non-Fring users.
It is is a mobile internet community and communication service that allows friends to connect, share experiences and enhance their online communities together. Although VOIP voice quality is improved on PCs, it is a concern for mVOIP clients. Latency is an immediate worry for Fring and its competitors barablu, jajah, Skype, ConnectMeAnywhere and others in the area. You can make cheap local and international calls to landlines and regular mobile contacts using your SkypeOut account or hundreds of SIP-based providers such as Eutelia, GizmoProject, VoipCheap, VoipStunt, Free World & SIPNET over fring, even from non-SIP enabled handsets. In short, fring makes your mobile the ultimate social device. It puts all your online friends into one, dynamic fringFriends buddy list, which is always connected so you can enjoy free calls and instant messaging with all your online friends, see their real-time status, and even find each other’s actual location.
You can also listen to music with your Last.fm friends and check out what each other are up to on Facebook, receive alerts of new Google Mail and tailor make your very own fring by adding more cool experiences from fring Add-ons. You can automatically login to WiFi hotspots with fring’s new auto-roaming feature! It saves lots of time and hassle as you no longer have to search for access points, and save money by automatically using free WiFi instead of your 3G data plan. You can get access to WiFi wherever it is available like Cafe Restaurants like Cafe Coffee, Barista and places like airport, metro stations, Malls, Super Markets, etc. What's more, fring does all the work for you, automatically logging you into your favorite WiFi hotspots so you save time and hassle without having to configure your WiFi access points each time.
You can also download a ringtone using fring which is very simple to install and use, fring is PC-independent and does not require any dedicated hardware. All you need to use fring is a supported handset with internet connectivity and an internet data package or WiFi access. When you chat with your friends yo can view entire chat conversations in real-time on your handset and reduce the lag time and high accumulated costs of SMS.
Now fring is also available for Symbian users ( as you know Nokia use Symbain OS in their handsets) and very soon it will be available with Windows Mobile users also.
