Importance of Organ Donation

In recent news we would have read about the transplantion of organs made from a boy met with an accident. The heart of a boy died because of accident in Tamilnadu has been transplanted to a small girl of Bangalore who underwent treatment at chennai. The news spreadover and got importance very much about the organ donation and subsequently some parents of persons met with accident and died also donated the organs of the body to the needed.
But we, as a member of Radha Soamy Satsang Beas, have been advised by our Radha Soamy Satsang Beas about the organ donation since last 6 years.
Accordingly, I wish to inform the message received by me about the subject to all our members and requesting our members to inform the importance of organ donation. I have been inspired with an advice in their documentary that PLANTS ARE GIVING US FRUITS AND VEGITABLE,RAIN/RIVERS GIVES US WATER, TREES GIVES US SPACE IN HOT AND WHY DONT WE,THE HUMENBEINGS,THINK TO HELP OTHERS?
This makes me to write this to our friends.
Why is organ donation important? Thousands of people die every year due to the failure of their liver,heart,kidney etc.,or from a shortage of blood. But there is a way that we can help; if we human beings would agree to donate our healthy organs for the benefit of others, many lives could be saved and blindness avoided. we should be aware that all our organs except for the brain, can be replaced, and tissues like skin and bone canbe repaired and recontructed.
Who can donate? Any person in good health,of any race, gender or caste may be a doner. if you are under 18, you wll need the consent of your parent or guardian.
How can be an organ doner? If you wish to donate your organ after death, please inquire at your local hospital or with your doctor about registering for organ donation and obtaining an organ donation card. It is important that you share your decision with your family members so that they can carry out your wish at the time of your death. If you wish to donate your whole body, you will need to specify this when registering for organ donation, and you should tell your family members about your decision.
If you wish to donate your kidney,blood while living, it is better to consult the nearest hospital and or consult your doctor and arrange for such donation and donate to the needy.
Where to donate:BLOOD: chek with local blood banks,hospitals or ask your doctor
EYES: chek if there is an Eye Bank in your community or with your local hospital
ORGANS,TISSUES,AND WHOLE BODY: chek with your local hospital or medical colleges
