Schneider Electric Group campus placement paper and interview held at Sardar Patel college of engineering in August 2007. Schneider Electric is a France based company.The package offered was 2.67 lac per annum.
Here is the Placement Test pattern:
Technical Aptitude:30 minutes [20 questions]
It mainly consisted of motors, transformers, star-delta network, sensors,etc.
Instrumentation students can refer to their ETI subject of the 3rd sem and for Electronics students it was EMI.
Technical questions are related to electronics engineering, instrumentation and electrical subjects topics.
General aptitude:30 minutes [20 questions]
This section consisted of simple Quanatitative questions like time & distance, time & work, averages, percentage. Few reasoning questions like blood relation, coding, fill in the missing no.s
This section was easy.
Schneider India Interview: It was a combined HR & technical interview. The questions asked were as follows:
HR questions:
Where do u stay?
Tell me something abt ur family?
If you are posted to Guwahai do you or ur family have a problem??
Tech Interview questions:
What have u learnt in Instrumentation uptill now??
What are PLCs? Explain the B.D.
What is DCS?
Sensors?
Types of Control System?
For B.tech / BE electrical engineering students questions were more based on motors and transformers.
So the final statistics were:
