Hi friends,
People in search of greener pastures find difficult to address two issues:
1.Which course to choose
2.Which country is the forerunner for the chosen course

This article will help solve the dilemma. Below is the list of countries with excellent educational facilities and also opted by most students.

America
Undoubtedly studying in the US is a dream for every young mind. This is because of the number of top universities and quality of education in the country. If you see the statistics, for the year 2007-2008 itself, 90,000 students went to America for higher education.
Coming to the favorite course, Computer science tops the list. In addition, courses related to information technology also got great demand. Next come Management courses. To get admission in to this at undergraduate level, qualifying in SAT exam is necessary. Similarly GMAT is for post graduation. GRE score is necessary for admission into engineering and science courses. An educational year is divided into 2 sessions here.
1.Spring season (in the month of January)
2.Fall season (in the month of September)
Most US universities follow 10+2+4 format. That is, 16 years of academic track record is essential. So if you choose US, plan accordingly. If you fall short of the prescribed period, well, no problem. You can pursue any certified course to fill the gap.

Australia
After America, Australia is the favorite for Indians. The main reason for this is there are courses right from 10+2 to PhD that promise employment opportunities. Below are the widely chosen courses in the order of importance:
Technology courses
1.Engineering
2.Computer Science
3.Public Relations

Health care courses
1.Nursing
2.Pharmacy

Intermediate based diploma courses
1.Horticulture
2.Cookery
3.Culinary Arts
4.Hair dressing
IELTS score is compulsory here to get admission in to PhD courses. For masters courses a score of 6.0 to 6.5 and for bachelor courses 5.5 to 6.o is recommended.
Admission seasons
Every academic season is divided into
1.February
2.July

Britain
After the US and Australia, stands UK. Here courses range from Bachelor degree to post graduation. Below is the list of popular courses in UK.
1.Information technology
2.Business management
3.Nursing
4.Hospitality
5.Life sciences

Like Australia, IELTS score is compulsory here. Recommended scores are 6.0 to 6.5. Now there are also some colleges that offer courses based on TOEFL rather than IELTS. Courses available in Honors bachelor degree are equivalent to Indian courses like M.A and MSc. As per the rules of Australian government, after course completion, the student has the flexibility for one year to search for employment. If he can get permanent job in this time, he can extend his visa.

Above are the top 3 countries and the courses they offer. Apart from them, people also prefer other countries for specialization.
