Advice to Applicants: Candidates must develop their aesthetic test, drawing skill and technical aptitude
and should be physically fit to carry out practice based work.
Training Facilities: The Department has Workshop facilities, Classroom, Library, Computer facilities,
Laboratories, Studio etc. required for the training programmes. It also has a Sales Emporium to sell the
products made by the Trainees, Staff and Workers of Silpa-Sadana.
Hostel Accommodation: There are thirty seats available in the Boys’ hostel and ten seats in the Girls’
hostel at Sriniketan. Candidates seeking admission as a resident student must put tick “(v)” mark in
“Resident” mentioned in the application form. Hostel seats will be allotted subject to availability of
seats.
Last Date: Application form complete in all respect should reach to the Head, Silpa-Sadana,
Visva-Bharati, P.O: Sriniketan, Dist: Birbghum, PIN 731236, W.B, by July 30, 2009.
