Being a Businessman, I can manage 4-5 Hrs daily from my work. I used to watch Movies/Cricket in TV & spend time on Internet. But, one day one of my friend suggested me to do ‘Work from Home Based Job’ in my leisure time. I felt interest on it & started getting information from here and there.
After visiting 3-4 offices, we came to know that there are 3 Types of work, which can be done from Home Computer. Windows XP or Higher O/S, Office 2003 or Higher, CD-Writer, 10GB Hard Disk is must to work on these types of work.
Types of Work & Details:
A) Data Conversion : They will provide you .pdf files & a software, by which you need to transfer the .pdf file into .doc file. Then you have check Spellings (Error Checking). There are 26-Points/Instructions, which will be given to you while registration. These instructions you need to follow while Formatting the .doc file. Instructions are like Font-Settings/Paragraph-Settings/Page-Setup/Space Format etc.
Registration Fee: Rs.850 for 6 Months (you will get 2 Assignments per month)
Volume of Work: 150 Pages within 8 Days (Complete work then payment)
Payment: Rs.20 per Page. Total Rs.3000 per Assignment. Monthly Rs.6000 (2 Assignments)
Note: upto 97% Accuracy Full Payment / 90% Accuracy 50% Payment / Below 90% Contract CANCEL.
B) Data Typing : You need to type the pages in their software like Typing Master.
Registration Fee: Rs.1200 for 6 Months (you will get 1 Assignment per month)
Volume of Work: 200 Pages within 10 Days, Per Page 80-90 Lines. (Complete work then payment)
Payment: Rs.10 per Page. Total Rs.12000 per Assignment.
Note: upto 97% Accuracy Full Payment / 90% Accuracy 50% Payment / Below 90% Contract CANCEL. You must have a typing speed over 40wpm to complete the work within the mentioned time.
B) Data Editing : You need to edit the pages in their software by viewing Original & New-one.
Registration Fee: Rs.1000 for 6 Months (you will get 1 Assignment per month)
Volume of Work: 200 Pages within 10 Days. (Complete work then payment)
Payment: Rs.30 per Page. Total Rs.6000 per Assignment.
Note: upto 97% Accuracy Full Payment / 90% Accuracy 50% Payment / Below 90% Contract CANCEL. It is more tough work, as you need to check every letter correctly.
So, be careful before investing money to them, as they know most of us not going to complete the work & if even completed anyhow, there must be mistakes. If Contract gets CANCELED then Money will not be refunded.
Special Attention: Family Problem, Illness, Electricity Problem, PC Problem – these reasons will not be acceptable to them.

Rightly said Anindya, here in Bangalore too lot of such companies were there, now it has been reduced to sizable, as most of the persons having computer here have lost their money including myself, as such companies has been reduced now-a-days as no people left out to get cheated, I lost around 20k, one such company called Paristi, which had almost everybody were got doctorate in Physics, electronics etc., they were running under KPO business, finally here they have cheated around 1200 people, amounting to 8 crores, still no where abouts of them, few people have filed case, but of no use, they have given agreement in Rs.100/- stamp paper, that paper is still with me though matter is good as 4 years old, most of the data entry, data conversion, form filling are fake, only exception is ISC, better to stay with them.

I was planning to do such data entry jobs, but I am afraid , I cannot dare to lose even thousand rupees. I have passed lower,I am just at home and I dont know how to earn pocket money.

Thanks for posting the information friend.
Quite a detailed info you have given and very close to fact as well. Though I did not have experience to share as I did not indulge in these activities so far. But, yes I do give a thought to such opportunities every now and than. After reading your post my trust on such sites got lower and now I will stick to online earning method of "Adsense" only. This one is surely spam free.

This article should be an eye opener to people looking for home-based jobs. I know a friend in Delhi who had lost money in one such part time job. Ads for such jobs appear on newspaper with enticing punch line like earn Rs. 25000 - 30000, work 6 hours from home. These companies will let you sign an agreement before they offer you projects. So you cannot even challenge them legally.
In my friend's case both of us went together to the company after his payment was refused owing to the error percentage. We tried to meet the manager and tried to seek an explanation from him. We were refused to meet and our CD containing the data was also not returned.
So friends, this is some kind of a fraud. Even though your work is error free, who knows they may refuse to pay you.

but awareness is not there then it hurts.
now a days many people try work from home but as you say nothing can consider by them.
