Eligibility criteria:- 1. Nationality : Indian 2. Qualification : B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Naval Architecture) full time course with minimum 55% marks in aggregate of all the semesters from an AICTE approved institution. (The AICTE approval must cover the entire 4 years of the course) 3. Age : Born on or after 02nd December, 1981. 4. English : Minimum 50% marks in English in Std. X or XII. 5. Eye Sight : Minimum unaided (i.e. without spectacles or contact lenses) at least 6/12 in each eye OR 6/18 in bad eye with 6/9 in the better eye. Normal colour vision (tested by Ishihara test chart). 6. Medical Fitness : Medically fit for sea service as per Director General of Shipping (DGS) rules If you are appearing for the final year exam of your B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Naval Architecture, or have appeared and are awaiting your results, you are eligible to apply, provided you meet the remaining criteria. 1 Last Date of Receipt of Applications. 6th August, 2009, Thursday 1700 hrs 2 Written Entrance Exam.At Mumbai, Goa, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi 9th August, 2009, Sunday 1000 hrs 3 Results on website www.imtcmumbai.org and www.imsgoa.org 17th August, 2009, Monday 4 Interviews, Psychometric test Interview schedule will be placed on above websites. 14th to 17th September 2009 Monday to Thursday 5 Display of the list of selected and waitlisted candidates, at interview centre , followed by detailed briefing 18th September 2009, Friday 6 Medical examination and certificates verification for selected candidates only 19th / 20th September 2009 Saturday/ Sunday 7 Briefing of the selected candidates 23rd September 2009 For more details, visit www.imtcmubai.org.
