A woman is not inferior to man. In fact, men and women are complementary to one another. Both could lead a harmonious life, working as a team, and not as rivals. The place of modern women is certainly not in the kitchen. They have proved themselves, both physically and intellectually, equal to men, if not better. They have entered the professional world and become self-reliant. So both men and women should work together. Wives may help husbands in office work and husbands to the spouses in the kitchen. If man helps his wife in this kitchen, she can cope better with her professional and domestic responsibilities. In matters pertaining to the family and social affairs, both should cooperate and discharge their duties effectively. Women in the past like Jijiya Bhai, mother of Shivaji, or Ratnavali, wife of Tulasidas proved to be sources of inspiration for their children or husbands. Modern women like Indira Gandhi, Margaret Thatcher, Kalpana Chawla, Sarojini Naidu etc excelled men in their own spheres. So sex-bias should totally be eliminated. Empowerment of women is the need of the hour.

Hi,
As you told there should definitely be a good mutual understanding between both men and women. As informed the wife as well as the husband should be supportive to each other in all walks of their life and all aspects. It may be financial status, family status etc. If there is understanding between them, there will not be a matter of quarel.
This will infact strengthen their relationships to each others.
Best regards, Mala.
