Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar invites applications for the following Self Financing & Innovative Programmes for the academic year 2009-10

MBA (Hons.) Financial Services
MBA (Hons.) Marketing and Retail Management
MCA (Software Systems)
B.Tech.(Electronic Communication Systems)
Master of Sports Physiotherapy (Hons.)
Master of Planning( Infrastructure)

Admission to all courses shall be based on the merit of the candidates in the entrance tests/group discussion/interview to be conducted by the University as per Schedule

Eligibility Criteria for Programmes at GNDU Amritsar
M.Tech.(Textile Chemistry)
B.Tech. (Textile Chemistry) or equivalent in Textile Chemistry with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

MBA (Hons.) Financial Services
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in any stream with not less than 50% marks.

MBA (Hons.) Marketing and Retail Management
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in any stream with not less than 50% marks.

MCA (Software Systems)
Eligibility
BBA/B.Com/B.Com(Professional)/B.Sc.(Hons.) Economics or Graduate in any stream with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Sciences/ Computer Applications/IT/Computer Maintenance/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the elective subjects with 50% marks in aggregate or any equivalent degree thereto.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as an elective subject at + 2 level.

and English from Punjab School of Education Board/C.B.S.E. or any other examination recognized by Guru Nanak Dev University as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects.


Master of Sports Physiotherapy (Hons.)
Eligibility
Bachelor in Physiotherapy with at least 50% marks from any recognized University/ Institute or equivalent or higher degree or M.B.B.S.

Master of Planning( Infrastructure)
Eligibility
B.Tech. (Urban & Regional Planning) / B.E.(Civil) B. Architecture /Masters of
Urban/Regional Planning and other equivalent degrees/ Master in Geography/ Sociology/ Economics from Guru Nanak Dev University or any other institute recognized by the University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

How to Apply for GNDU Amritsar – Self Financing Programmes ?
Prospectus, is available from the University Cashier on payment of Rs. 650/-

or by post from Assistant Registrar (General), by sanding a Crossed DD of Rs. 700/- drawn in favour of Registrar, GNDU, payable at Amritsar.

The Prospectus will be available at www.gndu.ac.in Additional Rs.650/- should be sent along with the downloaded form.
