M.A. [Communication]
Amrita’s two-year post graduate degree programme in communication in uniquely designed to provide you an opportunity to specialize in career streams of your choice. Career streams include Print and Television Journalism, Video Production, Animation, Web Design and integrated Marketing Communications.
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline. Those with less than 70% marks in degree examination must appear and clear CAPTEST 2009.
P.G. Diploma [Journalism]
A one year programme with focus on Print Journalism, it offers students a lateral entry into the second year of our MA (Communication).
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline. Those with less than 70% marks in degree examination must appear and clear CAPTEST 2009.
B.A. [Mass Communication]
A three-year degree programme in keeping with the spirit of UNESCO’s model curriculum designed by the most renowned media professionals and theoreticians of the world.
Eligibility: 10+2 from any recognized board in India with atleast 50% marks or equivalent grade.
Application Procedure:
Obtain a Demand Draft (DD) from a bank for Rs.350/- favouring ‘Amrita Vishwa vidyapeetham’, payable at coimbatore. Next, follow any of the following steps:
- Download application from www.amrita.edu/ascom and send the completed form along with the DD or
- Obtain the form in person from Admission Coordinator (Communication), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham by submitting the DD or
- Receive application by post by writing to Admission Coordinator (Communication), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Ettimadai P.O., Coimbatore – 641 105 along with the DD.
