Last month I went to Guwahati and was staying with my unckle for a few day and one day we decided to go to Kamakhya.Kamakhya is a famous holy place of Assam. It is visited by many pilgrims of our India. It is situated on a hill pole Nilashal just on the bank of the Brahmaputra. From Chandmari we travel by a citybus. We got of at the Kamakhya bus-stop and there we hired a taxi to go to the top of the hill.as the taxi run up along the zigzag road on the hill I could see beautiful sites all around. The taxi stopped at the place near the Kamakhya temple. There we got out of the taxi and went round the temple campus.after visiting the temple we began to walk to the top of the hill where the temple of Bhubaneswari is situated. The walk was difficult but enjoyable. There we set a huge rock facing the Brahmaputra and the city of Guwahati below. The site was wonderful as I had never seen before. The river below looked like a long sheet of white cloth and the city full of toy-houses.after some time we began to climb down.we were in a mood of silence,as our heart was filled with quite happiness.
