ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Sri Avinashilingam Home Science College for Women was established by the great patriot and Nationalist Dr.T.S.Avinashilingam Ayya Avargal under the auspices of the Avinashilingam Educational Trust in 1957 with 45 students. The growth of the institution has been carefully nutured to its current heights by the world renowned educationist and nutritionist former Chancellor of the University Dr. Rajammal P.Devadas. It is now the largest Institution in the country for imparting Higher Education at all levels. Avinashilingam University for Women has completed twenty years. Thiru. T.K. Shanmuganandam, B.A., B.L., is the Chancellor of the University. He is a close associate of Dr. T .S. Avinashilingam Ayya Avargal.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Established in the year 1988, the Department has evolved into a strong segment of the University with exceptional academic and research base. The Department takes the credit of being a pioneer in introducing MCA and M.Sc Computer Science in the year 1991. All the programmes of the Department are supported by experienced,
dynamic and committed staff members specialized in different areas of Computer Science. The department offers B.Sc(CS), BCA, MCA, M.Sc(CS), M.Sc (IT & Mgt), M.Phil , Ph.D. and Add-on Certificate and Diploma courses. The Department has many funded projects under different schemes of UGC, AICTE, DRDO and TamilNadu Government.
CONFERENCE THEME
The National Conference on Emerging Trends in Computer Science (NCETCS '09), aims at bringing together the researchers & experts in Computer Science and related fields to common platform to discuss and exchange their expertise and views for knowledge enhancement.
CALL FOR PAPERS
Original contributors from ongoing research and unpublished research work/ surveys are expected from Post Graduates, M.Phil, Ph.D Scholars and Faculty members of various leading institutions. The authors are requested to send a soft copy (MS Word) of their full paper through email attachment to ncetcs2009@gmail.com

Registration Fees
The registration fee is Rs. 500. The fee may be paid by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Avinashilingam University for Women”, payable at Coimbatore. The fee includes Conference kit, refreshments and lunch. For each paper to be published in the proceedings, atleast one of the authors of the accepted paper has to register for the conference.
