WINDOWS TIPS-To delete a file or folder permanently
When a file or folder is deleted in Windows Explorer, a copy of the file or folder is placed in the Recycle Bin. But If you press SHIFT while deleting, the item is deleted from your computer without being stored in the Recycle Bin. It will be permanently deleted.
Without pressing shift key every time, you can do this using group policy editor. For this, type gpedit.msc in Run window. In the group policy window, click user configuration. Then go to Administrative templates, then to windows components and finally to windows explorer. On the right side you can enable ‘Don’t move deleted files to Recycle bin’.
