Master in Computer Applications (Full-Time) 2008-2011 - BITS Mesra, Ranchi

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi has given a notificaiton for admissions for 2008-2011 for the course of Master in Computer Applications. The eligibility criteria are as follow:
Eligibility Criteria for the 3-year (6-semester) full-time MCA programme 2008 offered by the Birla Institute of Technology at Mesra, Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur and Noida
1. Candidates must have passed in ALL subjects in which they have appeared in Class 10 (excluding optional subjects) with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average. Marks in Class 10 to be computed as average of marks obtained in ALL subjects in which candidate have appeared (excluding optional subjects).
2. Candidates must have passed in ALL subjects in which they have appeared in Class 12 (excluding optional subjects) with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average. Marks in Class 12 will be computed as average of best 5 subjects in which candidate has appeared (excluding optional subjects).
3. Candidates must hold one of the following degrees
1. BCA, or
2. B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics, or
3. B.Sc. / B.A. with Mathematics or Statistics at graduate level
Instructions
(Important Instructions to candidates filling online application)
1. Please read eligibility criteria and other requirements before filling the online form
2. To apply for the programme, eligible candidates must complete the online application form, and submit a printout of the completed form with required enclosures (see below) by 5 May 2008, at the office of the Dean Admissions, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi 835215
3. Enclosures required with the online application:
1. Two recent colour photographs (one pasted on form and one attached by clip. Write your Name and Form No on the reverse of the latter photograph).
2. Photocopies of following documents and certificates - marksheets of Class 10, Class 12, Graduation (if available), or marksheets upto pre-final year for candidates graduating in 2008, as well as Caste / Special Category certificates. Write your Name, online Form No, telephone number and “MCA 2008”, on the back of each of these papers
3. Crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1,200/- in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi. Write your Name, Form No, and telephone number on the back
4. Two slips of paper of size 10 x 10 cm with your name and address clearly written in block capitals, and telephone number
