To modify the already existing design of the conoweeder in order to make it user-

Problems in the current design:
1.The straight handlebar is not convenient to use, it has to be made more ergonomic.
2.The length of the connecting rod is fixed. This fixed length does not accommodate for the fact that the users can be of different heights, and may wish to increase or decrease their distance from the conical wheels.
3.The inclination of the connecting rod is fixed. The fixed inclination will be convenient only for users of a particular height. Most users may have to operate the cono-weeder from an uncomfortable position.

Modifications implemented:

1. The straight handle bar has been replaced by a different kind of handle bar that is significantly more ergonomic in its design. To accomplish this, the straight handle bar has been replaced by a bicycle handlebar.

It has the following benefits (depends on the type of cycle-handle used):
(i). Cycle handlebars have evolved with time keeping comfort of users as a priority. In particular cycle handlebars have been designed keeping prolonged use in mind.

ii) Cycle handlebars are readily available commercially and can be used directly. Even used handlebars from old/condemned bicycles, if the handlebars are in good condition, can be used. This enables cost savings and saves considerable time in installing this modification on any existing cono-weeder

(iii) Typically handlebars can be rotated about axis. This enable more adjust ability in the angle at which the handle bar can be held and increases the comfort for the user.

(iv) The brake handles can be left on the handlebar allowing the user to vary their hand grip and hence increase their comfort during use.

(v) Existing cycle handlebars also allow incidental benefits such as the ability to mount a lamp in the front of the bar, for use during early morning and late evening hours, if necessary.

2. The length of the connecting rod has been made adjustable by providing some holes on the rod and one hole on the handle-bar.
This way the length can be adjusted as per the convenience / requirement of the user. The extent of adjustability can be increased to any degree. To illustrate this, we have made 4 holes, which give an adjustable length in the range of 6-7 inches.

3. The inclination of the connecting rod has been made adjustable to accommodate users of varying heights.

A new metal piece with 4 holes (No. can be increased/ decreased as per requirement) has been attached/inserted in between the metal-piece A and the metal-piece B .
