This project is very useful for the students and parents about knowing the latest information about academic activities and general information about the college. It provides an easy and efficient way for knowing the details of college through telephone. This technology is currently used in railway and other major organization.

The project is an announcing system based on personal computer. The data in the institution or any other form is stored in a PC. The required data is retrieved from the remote institution or any other firm through the telephone line by this system.

The procedure is very simple, at first you have to make a call to a predetermined number and then enter the registration number which is provided earlier. The data will reach the computer through serial port .The program will check the registration number and will provide the details as voice through the telephone. This system is very useful for institution, by which you will get the information about students’ attendance, mark and all other details having the cost of a call.
