Job Description
WEBLOGIC ADMINISTRATOR Resonsibilities include :-
Installation & configuration of Weblogic, Webpshere, JBOSS Server components and
subcomponents on supported platforms.
Weblogic Deployment, Clustering, Performance Tuning, Weblogic Webservices,
Administration, Installation
Working with Apache web server.
Working on Migration, Cloning, Export/Import.
Working with server monitoring tools like Wily, MRTG, Whassup and BAC.
Working in a 24X7 production support with multiple servers which is located at various
places
Working with Monet Ticketing System (Remedy) with SLA (Service Level Agreement)
Application and Platform Support for Weblogic, Websphere, JBOSS which involves
incident management, problem management and administration of the application.
Supporting different environments like Production, Test, Development and Training.
Installation and configuration of Weblogic, Websphere, JBOSS, Apache and Tomcat.
Infrastructure Support for Weblogic, Websphere, JBOSS.
Start and stop WebLogic administration and managed servers
Create new domains from existing domains and modify WebLogic Server domains
Creation and configuration of connection pools
Add WebLogic Server instances to a cluster
Optimize performance between WebLogic and databases
Recovery from server failure
Take thread dumps, analyze logs and resolve various errors/exceptions
Deployments of .Jar, .war files – Weblogic Deployments
Troubleshooting issues related to Websphere and Weblogic.
