Hi,
You are saying that your brother is doing aeronautical engineering. I am sure he would have chosen this after exploring the career options in this field. Ask him straight away.
Now a days lot of people are opting for this field. It has lot of scope since there are lot of airline companies in this field. You can chose to join the airlines (maintenance or servicing) or the aircraft manufacturing companies in design and development. To excel in any field one should be passionate about it. Then the options will really be easy to locate. Have a great career.
Regards Chitra Prakash

Hello, Without wasting uch time, you should go for it. Airline Industry is growing and have a great oppertunity in future. Now days, Private Companies like 'Kingfisher', 'Jet Airways', 'Air Deccan' and others has giving good competition to 'Indian Airlines'.
So, the chances of getting good jobs is much higher than previous. But, you should rank high in your field otherwise may face recession problems in future.
Maintenance, Ground Staff, Aircraft Mnf - many scopes are open for this field. Best of Luck.

Hi Jeyasree, SO you want to do Aeronautical Engineering thats good well in India this trade is not so common I mean you hardly find any full time Institute having such branch just search your nearby Engineering Institute or Govt Institute. Only top level institute are having such a branch like IIT Khadakpur, Madras etc. Well another way is much simple than this Join Aeronautical Society of India for his you must be XII with PCM & 50% min. Its approved by AICTE & Part time course, but for better performance you have to join some coaching institute, there are lots of institute are available but they shown them as Engineering Institute. so be aware about this. Any thing else let me know. rgds Satnam www.sendhwa.com

Hi Jeyasree, Now this time this field is totally blocked, coz of too many passed students. As you told your brother is in final year of Aeronautical Engineering, Company also not taking them preference is for Aircraft maintenance Engineers that is a certificate Course that is Approved by DGCA. Better to tell him to do M.Tech from IIT in the same catogary through GATE exams. And tell him to try in HAL for job. For You please try another field in which you have more confidence. This time Animation Course is growing Up. But in the Aviation its frustrating field.

There is a bit over-grow of the field. But for an achiever it is never tough to find the way.
There are many options available to study further in this field. A master's course will certainly add boost to the carrier. If you have the resources then higher studies is the best option first. And even better in US.
Other options are to start a carrier in HAL- BAngalore. Other option is to try for our own ISRO.
There are various on-line exams offered by NASA too. If you clear them then there is huge potential in NASA. This month a Gujarati boy topped in the same exam.
Opportunities are there, you just have to have vision to find them out.
If you get higher education then there are many air-line companies in the world to get the job. You can also build your carrier as an lecturer.
