Hi Valji Karsanbhai Ahir,
The song is about the salutations to Mother India. The meaning of the song has been given beautifully here
Translation of the song Vandhemataram
Just go through this and you will know what the song means. This was written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee for the book Anandamatha in the year 1882 and just then Jadunath Bhattacharya set the tune for this song. As far as I know, this is not an anti muslim song but here Goddess Durga had been taken as a model for Bharath Mata. That many of the muslims do not seem to like and have made it a big issue.

It seems that you are not that well versed in Sanskrit, so I won't get much into the details. So this is your answer..
Vande = I salute/ I bow
Mataram = to (my ) mother.
its not an anti-muslim song, this is a prayer to the "Mother INDIA".

Somedays back I was watching this debate over fatwa issued on vande mataram. There I came to know that Vande Mataram as said by Nitesh means, I love my motherland more than anything.
Muslims follow that there is only one god. And here Vande Matarm means that they love their motherland than anything else . Overall its a politial issue rather than muslim issue. In the same show, the muslims said that they being Muslims do not see anything wrong in singing vande mataram. It should be their wish if they want to sing it or not. It is not that the Muslims are making this an issue, but the political parties are creating an issue of this.
