do u sometimes disagree with the ratings given by ICC, i do a lot of times.
and look at ratings given by Australia few weeks back, totally disagree.
Some countries like England, Australia & New Zealand feels they are par than nations from Indian Subcontinent.
sometimes watch BBC, they will show news for matches between OZ with any other nation, but if match is between 2 asian countries, they rarely shows, this i had noticed before. don't know now.

Hi, A team is rated based on the performance in all fields in a match just as how a student is rated in school based on the performance in various subjects a team is also rated by it's capabilities in various fields like of it's batting, bowling, fielding and the team spirit of the entire team and it's on field behaviour. A player is rated based on his consistency in the performance and also his capacities in various fields like if we take in batting how will he play in a pitch which is turning and on a pitch which supports for batting and his adaptability to a particular condition. In this fashion a player or a team will be rated.
