Now coming to treatment and prevention, in majority of chronic back pain if not associated with any chronic systemic illness, treatment is symptomatic in the form of analgesics, ice packs, postural changes, exercises etc. Therefore it is better to stress on prevention which include proper posture while you are working, etc. Detail treatment and prevention can be seen here. Coming specifically to your problem, I think you might have some systemic illness, as you said you spit blood in the morning. Dont worry but be conscious, it may be mild hepatic problem which can be resolved easily, but can be some serious illness too which may require immediate intervention. Chances is more likely of caries spine a tuberculosis of spine where the primary organ affected is lungs and spine also gets involved. Get thoroughly investigated and do as per advice of an emminent physician and orthopedician.

Go & check immediately with local health center and take medicine as per the prescription. Once relived a bit then try to do some Yoga/Pranayam and even switch over to Ayurvedic treatment.
Do not delay and you must have seen what happen to MJ recently.

Dear Friend,
I think meditation will help you to reduce back pain. Just do 10 min meditation every day.For more better results you can practice specific mudras during meditation.I will explain about the mudra in detail.First I will tell you how to do meditation.
Sit in calm place with your back straight. The room should have proper air circulation.Switch off the fan.Try not to do meditation after food.Best time is in the morning or in the evening.Breath in and out slowly. As you breath in feel that you are absorbing all goodness in this universe.Think about the happy moments. As you breath out feel that your problems are going away from you.Feel relaxed.Don't rush the process.Do this for 2 or 3 minutes.
After some time place the thumb, middle and little finger of your right hand together as in top figure. The index finger and ring finger are extended. In your left hand place your thumb joint on the nail of the index finger as shown in the bottom figure. This specific hand position is known as Back mudra. This mudra is specifically used for back pains. Continue the breathing in and out while doing the mudra.Say in mind that "My backbone is strong, my back is wide, and I am protected and supported both inside and outside."
Best Of Luck.
Regards vipin

Back pain (also known "dorsalgia") is pain felt in the back that usually originates from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other structures in the spine.
The pain can often be divided into neck pain, upper back pain, lower back pain or tailbone pain. It may have a sudden onset or can be a chronic pain; it can be constant or intermittent, stay in one place or radiate to other areas. It may be a dull ache, or a sharp or piercing or burning sensation. The pain may be radiate into the arm and hand), in the upper back, or in the low back, (and might radiate into the leg or foot), and may include symptoms other than pain, such as weakness, numbness or tingling.
Back pain is one of humanity's most frequent complaints. In the U.S., acute low back pain (also called lumbago) is the fifth most common reason for physician visits. About nine out of ten adults experience back pain at some point in their life, and five out of ten working adults have back pain every year.[1]
The spine is a complex interconnecting network of nerves, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments, and all are capable of producing pain. Large nerves that originate in the spine and go to the legs and arms can make pain radiate to the extremities.
