(b) During machining of C-20 steel in a orthogonal cutting, the following data were obtained.Chip thickness ratio 0.47, tangential cutting force 850N, thrust force = 150N and rake angle of the tool is 12°.
Calculate:(i) Shear force (ii) Coefficient of friction. [Marks 6]
