1. What is a group? Explain group structure with its components. (2 + 6)
2. Explain the OD interventions used by change agents.
3. Explain the two approaches for measuring job satisfaction.
4. Explain the importance of perception and its process in a work organisation.
5. Critically explain the expectancy theory of motivation.
6. Trait theory of Leadership – Discuss.
7. Distinguish Authority and Power.
8. What is Learning? Explain the major dimensions of social Learning theory. (2 + 6)
PART B — (4 * 15 = 60 marks)
Answer any FOUR questions.
9. What do you mean by self concept? Elaborately explain the Carl Roger’s Theory of Personality and its applicability in work organisations. (5 + 10)
10. What is cognitive dissonance and how is it related to attitude?
11. What are the basic types of groups in organizations? What types of group do you think is most significant? Why?
12. Explain the morale building programmes.
13. Define the term ‘‘ Effectiveness’’ and distinguish it from ‘‘Efficiency’’.
14. What do you mean by organisation climate? Also explain the factors affecting climate of work organisation.
15. ‘‘A leader is developed and not born’’ Do you agree with this? Explain with reasons.
