1. Explain the meaning and dimensions of quality.
2. What is ‘‘Harmony in Tourism’’? How can it be ensured?
3. Narrate any one incident of an offence against tourists and state how to avoid such offences.
4. What are the kinds of emergency medical assistances available to tourists?
5. State the measures taken by Indian Railways to improve it's quality of services.
6. How can tourists be protected against man made disasters?
7. Write a brief note on tourist's right for consumer protection.
8. Explain the role of mass media in improving the quality standards of tourism in India.
PART B — (4 × 15 = 60 marks)
Answer any FOUR questions.
9. Write a detailed essay on the quality determinants in tourism with suitable illustrations.
10. Explain the roles of various Government agencies and institutions involved in tourism development to improve the quality of tourism.
11. Analyze the positive and negative impacts of the roles played by tourist guides in facilitating the quality of experience of tourists.
12. Explain the different kinds of training that are to be imparted to public service personnel involved in tourism.
13. Draw up a campaign for creating awareness about cleanliness of places of tourism importance with the budget proposal and the positive effects of it.
14. Write an essay on ‘‘International Co-operation in Tourism’’.
15. Discuss the sanitary and health requirements of the tourists from the view point of prescribed standards.
