These two modifiers describe the result of another clause. They have three distinct forms depending on what noun they modify.

So + Adjective + A/An + singular count noun + that

Such + A/An + Adjective + singular count noun + that

Such + Adjective + plural count noun/noncount noun + that





Sample Usage

It was so nice a day that we went for a hike.
It was such a nice day that we went for a hike.
It was such nice weather that we went for a hike.
