About Easwari Engineering College

The establishment of " Easwari Engineering College for Women" during the Academic Year 1996-97 heralded a bold step towards "Women's Empowerment" in the State Capital Chennai. The focus for providing Engineering Education for Women stems from considerations that women compete and excel very well both academically and professionally in Computer Science and Engineering and in IT related areas. This was a pioneering effort in the field of Technical Education in Tamil Nadu. The College has been named after Madam Easwari Pachamuthu, wife of the Founder Chairman. Now in Easwari Engineering College Co education is going on.
